Accountant

The Financial Services Department is looking for Accountant/Senior Accountant to join us in the Accounting and Performance Measurement Division. You will be part of a team responsible for accounting, reporting and performance measurement of portfolio investment assets managed by GIC and external fund managers appointed by GIC.

Your main responsibilities will include:

•	Preparing accounting and management reports for investment assets, as well as reviewing accounting treatments for investment assets managed by GIC and our external fund managers
•	Reviewing accounting-related controls and reconciliation processes, as well as liaison with global custodian banks and investment managers
•	Corporate administration and preparation of statutory financial statements for investment holding companies
•	Planning and implementing accounting projects and related system initiatives

You should possess a good Honours Degree in Accounting with at least two to three years of industry experience in audit or tax. We are looking for candidates who are good team players and enjoy working in a dynamic environment. You should also possess strong analytical abilities, and good interpersonal and communication skills. If you have relevant exposure to the financial services or fund management industry, this would be an advantage.
